One artisan who lived the frantic New York lifestyle for 25 years, learning from the best the trade had to offer, was Gaston Marticorena. Now happily settled on the west coast of Florida and able to concentrate full time on serious jewelry design and customer satisfaction, Gaston Marticorena is celebrating 60 years in the design business. He came to New York From Lima, Peru, in 1952. In New York he perfected his skills in design, metal work and production techniques, working with the very best in the business. He registered several US patents for inventions of hollow crown mountings and locking devices for interchangeable pieces.

An expert in gold and platinum, Gaston takes great pride in being able to take a client's idea and turn that into a treasure. In addition to creating spectacular new pieces, his sense of design and knowledge of gemstones and metals allow him to create the heirlooms of tomorrow for today's customers, or to take the heirlooms of yesterday and turn them into spectacular, modern pieces.
